Fresher Welcome Ceremony for 2023-2024 Academic Year and the Scholarship Awarding Ceremony was held on 29th December 2023 at Multipurpose Hall, UCMT. Rector, Dr.Yi Yi Win addressed the opening speech and the Head, Department of Student Affairs clarified the university rules and the facts to follow while studying at UCMT.

And then, Rector, Pro-Rectors, Professors and Heads from teaching and administrative department, the Department in charges, the registrar, the assistant registrar, the officials from the library, Administrative and Finance, the officials from the Department of Engineering, the teachers who teach the first year were introduced individually to the students and awarded the student who got the highest marks in the Matriculation Exam and awarded (9) outstanding students in their respective academic year.

After that, Mister UCMT and Miss UCMT for 2023-2024 academic year were presented sash, star and souvenirs and finally the entertainment groups performed with beautiful dances and songs as well. A total number of (600) students and teachers from UCMT attended the ceremony.
