 “The Closing Ceremony of Legal Awareness Training” was held on 7th February 2025 (Friday) at Multipurpose Hall, UCMT. The Rector, the Pro-Rector (Academic), Professors, Heads of the Departments, Associate Professors, Acting Heads of Departments, Subject In-Charges, teachers and staff, totaling approximately (190) people attended the ceremony.  At the ceremony, the Rector, Dr.Yi Yi Win addressed the opening speech that the Legal Awareness Training was held for the first time for (32) teachers and staff form 4th February 2025 to 7th February 2025 and the training aimed to officers and staff working at the University of Co-operative and Management, Thanlyin not only understand the existing laws, regulations and legal provisions but also to respect and abide by them. She urged the participants to continue studying the laws discussed in the training in details and to put them into practice and the training courses will be conducted once a month to promote the legal awareness among the staff and officers. During the Training, the teachers from the Department of Law led by the Professor, Head of Department, discussed the Myanmar Constitutional Law, the Civil Service Personnel Law, the Telecommunications Law, the Anti-Corruption Law and the Intellectual Property Laws and the participants also asked the questions they wanted to know.
