The 23rd Buddha Consecration Ceremony and Maha Patthana Recitation Ceremony of the Sabba Zaya Wish-Fulfilling Pagoda, which is enshrined within the campus of the University of Co-operative and Management, Thanlyin were held from 5th March 2025 to 7th March 2025 at the university’s Dhamma Hall, and twenty-four venerable monks were invited to preside over the ceremony. On 5th March 2025, the opening ceremony of the Maha Patthana Recitation Ceremony was attended and opened by the Rector, Pro-Rector (Academic), professors, Heads of the Departments, acting heads of the departments, Subject In-Charges, teachers and staff. On 7th March 2025, the Buddha Consecration and Patthana Completion Ceremony was held led by the Rector. Alms and offertories were donated to the members of Sangha, who recited Maha Patthana and participants observed the five precepts from the venerable monks. Then, a Buddha statue and twenty-four venerable monks were presented rice and offertories by the Rector, professors, Heads of the Departments, acting heads of the departments, Subject In-Charges, teachers, staff, and students from both the first year and specialized subjects.
